The LRCP team is conducting a systematic review of research and is collecting early grade reading resources in the Latin America & Caribbean region. The review of evidence and resources gathers, organizes, and assesses research-based early grade reading evidence from the last 25 years that relates to the LAC region. The evidence and resource review will culminate in:
1. An online database that catalogues existing EGR evidence and resources from or on the LAC region for use by policy and decision makers and other stakeholders;
2. Summaries of the evidence and resources organized into different topic areas and targeted to different stakeholders, such as teacher training institutions or NGOs;
3. Evidence gap maps to highlight existing research gaps in EGR in LAC; and
4. Plans to engage stakeholders in the region to utilize the evidence and resource review data to strengthen their EGR practices.
