ABOUT THE EVENT

Is research only for millionaires? Do the educational policies of some places seem to be designed in space? How to see the world with different eyes and not get lost in the attempt to generate changes in the region based on evidence?

In the framework of the International Youth Day, a date promoted by the UN that seeks to achieve the participation of young people in all areas of society, the LAC Reads Capacity Program and RedLEI designed a panel discussion between young researchers from Central America and the Caribbean to motivate young people to investigate.

We invite you to enjoy this event with Ingrid Nanne, Byron Delgado, Natalia Trujillo, Winny Peralta and Hetter Nuñez, young researchers who decided to share their opinions and experiences.

What did they think about research before? What motivated them to start? Why it is important for young people in the region to participate in this field? What are some challenges and tips for those who want to start doing research?

Click on the video (Spanish) and find out their answers!
