Yesly Contreras, LRCP Technical Coordinator, has over five years of experience in the education and development sectors. Before joining LRCP, Ms. Contreras worked with the International Literacy Association (ILA) as a Program Officer. She managed and supported teacher training projects in South Asia and Africa and provided capacity building to ILA’s literacy associations in Latin American and Asia. She has volunteered for Partners of the Americas in Nicaragua, and the Ministry of Education in El Salvador. Her studies include an MA in International Affairs with a concentration in International Development and Education from the Elliott School, The George Washington University, and a BA in Global Studies with a concentration in Latin America from St. Lawrence University.
